Review: I liked the premise of the film. And i really wished that i could just love the movie, as the plot and the acting was utter magnificent. But what really bothers me is the ridiculously long takes during the film. A big part of the movie do take place at a wonderful landscape with mountains, big grassy fields and all. But i think the director exaggerates with the over 1 minute shots of the breathtaking view. And there are also parts i could have been without. But i've gotta admit that i really liked the ending. It's no Happily ever After ending, but no tragic ending either. It's one of the very few "Ha! We knew you were faking it, so in your face!"-endings, which i'd love to see more in regular movies.
All in all, it was a very good movie, with strong messages and characters which you do care about... but i hope that in Hans next film, he won't put in a 2 minute clip over a lovely sandy beach.
I give the movie: 4 Davy Rice-puddings out of 5.
